Abstract
Objective To analyze the virus detection status in children with respiratory tract infection in a hospital of Baiyin City in 2022.Methods A total of 908 children admitted to the First People's Hospital of Baiyin from January to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Indirect immunofluorescence assay was used to detect the positive rate of immunoglobulin M antibodies against five major respiratory viruses,including parainfluenza virus(PIV),influenza B virus(IFVB),influenza A virus(IFVA),adenovirus(ADV),and respiratory syncy-tial virus(RSV).Results A total of 180 cases were positive for respiratory virus,the positive rate was 19.8％.Among 551 males,95(17.2％)were detected.Among 357 females,85 cases(23.8％)were detected.The differences of total virus detection rate and ADV detection rate among different genders were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The virus was detected in 96(23.4％)of 411 children aged 2 to 3 years.There were 278 cases of upper respiratory tract infectious diseases,and 50 cases(18.0％)were detected.Of 120 children with bronchial infection,34(28.3％)were detected with virus.The detection rates of PIV,RSV,IFVB,and ADV were 10.1％,3.0％,4.0％,and 2.8％,respectively.The detected quantity of PIV reached its peak in July to August,and the detected quantity of IFVB reached its peak in February and September.Conclusion In 2022,among the hospitalized children with respiratory tract infection in a hospital in Baiyin City,the positive rate of virus detection is 19.8％,and the main pathogen is PIV.The infection season is high in summer,and the virus detection rate of bronchial infection disease is the highest.There are differences in the virus detection rate of different genders and ages.关键词
