Influencing factors of the awareness rate of core knowledge of female cervical cancer prevention and treatment in Pudong New Area of Shanghai and service demand

Abstract
Objective To investigate the influencing factors of the awareness rate of core knowledge of female cervical cancer prevention and treatment in Pudong New Area of Shanghai and service demand.Methods Stratified sampling method was used to select the population of the gynecological common diseases screening project in Pudong New Area of Shanghai in 2023 for questionnaire survey.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of the awareness rate of the core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment,and to investigate the service demand of women for the core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment.Results A total of 838 women into research,the low awareness rate of the core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment was 28.9％.The results of univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in age,residence,education level,occupation,and income between the two groups(P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis results show that the residence of city center,education for the college graduate or above,professional for enterprise employees,retired and individual/free occupation,income of 5000-7499 yuan,≥7500 yuan were influencing factors of core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment(P＜0.05).The demand for access to prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in the high awareness rate group was higher than that in the low awareness rate group(P＜0.05).The percentage of willingness to receive follow-up and green diagnosis and treatment channel in the high awareness rate group was higher than that in the low awareness rate group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The awareness rate of the core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment in women in Pudong New Area is relatively low.It is necessary to focus on women who are farmers,workers,and with low income and low education level.In order to further improve the awareness rate of the core knowledge of cervical cancer prevention and treatment,the policy of multi-channel comprehensive propaganda and education,and the combination of investigation and education should be carried out.关键词
