Design and implementation of fire extinguisher training system based on virtual reality

Abstract
Due to the limitation of safety risk and training cost,it is difficult for traditional teaching methods to provide students with comprehensive fire safety knowledge and equipment operation experience,which makes students unable to master the use of fire equipment such as fire extinguishers efficiently and quickly.The use of virtual reality(VR)technology can safely and efficiently allow students to repeat the virtual simulation training,which can help to solve the above problems.On this basis,a fire extinguisher training system based on virtual reality is designed.The VR technology is used to combine instructional content with practical drills to build a virtual laboratory fire scene.The 3D engine is used to design an interactive system,and the operation flow of dry powder fire extinguisher is simulated.Furthermore,by integrating embodied cognition theory with gesture tracking technology,the fire extinguisher training system can introduce an interaction mode and innovative guidance method without the need for external devices.The evaluation results demonstrate that the designed system can enhance students'learning interest,and effectively help students master the operation skills and fire safety knowledge of fire extinguishers.关键词
