摘要

Abstract

Nanopore sequencing is a portable,convenient,relatively fast and cost-effective technology,which possesses the characteristics of long reading length,high throughput,real-time sequencing,etc.,and has great development potential in field detection,clinical diagno-sis,epidemiological investigation and microbial identification.In this paper,we compare the advantages and disadvantages of next generation sequencing and third generation sequencing,discuss the analysis of sequencing data and clinical applications of this technology in animal treating diseases.We also look forward to the development of nanopore sequencing technology and its potential prospects in the field of diag-nosis and control of animal diseases.
