Abstract

Wastewater from oily sludge pyrolysis with high oil content,high ammonia nitrogen,high COD was difficult to be treated.Qualitative analysis using GC-MS revealed that the wastewater contained 52 kinds of organic compounds.The wastewater was treated by"Pretreatment+Fenton oxidation+Biochemical+Fenton oxidation+BAF"process.The water quality of each unit after treatment was measured for 6 consecutive days.The results showed that the COD concentration in wastewater after treatment by this process was less than or equal to 150 mg/L,and the NH4+-N concentration was less than or equal to 25 mg/L,and petroleum concentration was less than or equal to 10 mg/L,which met the secondary discharge standard requirements of GB 8978-1996"Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard".The bentonite was used for adsorption pretreatment under acidic conditions,and the removal rates of COD and petroleum in wastewater could reach to 60%and 72%~75%;respectively,ammonia nitrogen was mainly removed in the biochemical unit,and the removal effect of bentonite adsorption and Fenton oxidation on ammonia nitrogen were not significant.The research results provide a new treatment approach for wastewater derived from oily sludge treatment,and provide some references and guidances for the harmless treatment of oily sludge throughout the entire process.
