微创经皮钢板固定术治疗胫骨中下段骨折的疗效分析
Efficacy of Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Plate Osteosynthesis in Treating Fractures in the Middle and Lower Segments of the Tibia

Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy of intramedullary nailing(IMN)and minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis(MIPPO)in the treatment of fractures in the middle and lower segments of the tibia.Methods A total of 66 patients with fractures in the middle and lower segments of the tibia treated in the Xiangyang No.1 People's Hospital,Hubei University of Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into a control group and an observa-tion group,with 33 in each group.The observation group underwent MIPPO,while the control group received IMN.Surgi-cal outcomes,therapeutic effects,C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),and white blood cell(WBC)count were compared between the two groups.Results The observation group had lower intraoperative blood loss,shorter hospital stays,and faster fracture healing than the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good results of Johner-Wruhs scoring system in the observation group was 93.9%,which was higher than the 75.8%in the control group(P<0.05).Furthermore,CRP,ESR,and WBC count were elevated in both groups after treatment,but the control group showed higher increases compared with the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion For fractures in the middle and lower seg-ments of the tibia,MIPPO demonstrates superior clinical outcomes to IMN and should be considered as the preferred treat-ment method.关键词
