Psychometric Properties of the Chinese Version of Personalized Psychological Flexibility Index in College Students and Breast Cancer Patients

Abstract
Objective:To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the personalized psychological flexi-bility index(PPFI)in college students and breast cancer patients.Methods:Three samples(including college students and breast cancer patients)were recruited.Acceptance and action questionnaire-Ⅱ(AAQ-Ⅱ),generalized anxiety disorder 2-item scale(GAD-2),patient health questionnaire(PHQ-2),6-item Freiburg mindfulness inventory(FMI-6)and 10-item Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC-10)were used as criterion-related indicators.Results:The item quality of the Chinese version of PPFI was good.It was a 15-item instrument,including avoidance,acceptance,and harnessing.The fitting index of first-order 3-factor model was good(x2/df=2.383,RMSEA=0.054,SRMR=0.056,CFI=0.960.TLI=0.947).The Chinese version of the PPFI and its dimensions were negatively correlated with the acceptance and action question-naire,depression,and anxiety(r=-0.14～-0.49),and positively correlated with mindfulness and resilience(r-0.23～0.64).The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total scale was 0.88 and 0.83 in college students and breast cancer patients,and the test-retest reliability was 0.54.The Cronbach's α coefficient of three dimensions ranged from 0.75 to 0.89,and the test-re-test reliability ranged from 0.36 to 0.56.Conclusion:The Chinese version of the PPFI has good psychometric properties and can be used to evaluate individual psychological flexibility levels.关键词
