Abstract
Objective To study the effect of sultra-pulsed fractional carbon dioxide laser combined with 5%minoxidil tincture on the appearance aesthetics and the results of hair mirror examination of alopecia areata.Methods From January 2021 to January 2023,110 patients with alopecia areata admitted to Yan'an People's Hospital were divided into a control group(55 cases)treated with topical 5%minoxidil and a observation group(55 cases)treated with a combination of 10 600 nm ultra pulse carbon dioxide lattice laser.The grouping method was random drawing,and both patients were treated for 6 weeks,followed up for 6 months.The clinical efficacy after 6 weeks of treatment,recurrence during follow-up and adverse reactions during treatment of the two groups were statistically analyzed.The improvement of alopecia areata,aesthetic appearance,immunity,inflammation index,hair mirror examination,mental state,alopecia severity and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 96.36%,which was higher than that of the control group(81.82%,P＜0.05);During the follow-up period,the recurrence rate of the observation group was 9.09%,lower than that of the control group(23.64%,P＜0.05).The dot matrix laser group had shorter hair growth time and blackening time than the control group.After 6 weeks of treatment,the newly developed growth area and the score of aesthetic were higher in the control group than in the control group(P＜0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment,the levels of peripheral blood CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,hair density,and hair follicle density in both groups increased compared to before treatment.The observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05);Peripheral blood CD8+and serum tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),the scores of the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),severity of alopecia tool(SALT),and dermatology life quality index(DLQI)in both groups decreased compared with pre-treatment.The observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 14.55%,while in the control group,the total incidence of adverse reactions was 9.09%.There was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of sultra-pulsed fractional carbon dioxide laser and 5%minoxidil tincture could effectively improve pemphigus vulgaris and improve patients'quality of life with a low risk of recurrence and a favourable safety profile.关键词
