新疆阿克陶县中老年人群牙列缺损及修复情况调查研究
Investigation of Dentition Defect and Restoration in the Middle-aged and Elderly People in Aktao County of Xinjiang

Abstract
Objective To study the dentition defect and repair of middle-aged and elderly people in Aktao County,and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of oral diseases in this area.Methods A questionnaire survey and oral condition examination were conducted on 545 middle-aged and elderly people over 45 years old in Aktao County from March to October 2023 using the principle of multi-stage,stratification and random sampling,and the dentition defect and repair status were recorded.Results Among the 545 middle-aged and elderly people surveyed,the dentition defect rate was 63.85%,the dentition loss rate was 28.07%,and the denture repair rate was 30.74%.The main restoration method is fixed denture restoration,and the missing teeth are mainly molars.There was no statistically significant difference in the number of missing teeth in each region of the upper and lower jaw between men and women(P＞0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the causes of tooth loss among different age groups(P＞0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the frequency of tooth brushing,tooth brushing time and dental visit(P＜0.05).The most common ways to obtain oral health knowledge were short videos,television and advertisements.Conclusion The oral health status of middle-aged and elderly people in Aktao County is worrying,and the dentition defect rate is high,which is seriously inconsistent with the repair rate.It is suggested that the government,medical institutions and all sectors of society should work together to improve the oral health awareness and health care capacity of middle-aged and elderly people.关键词
