Excellent Development Experience of Foreign Crop Seed Industry and the Thinking on the Development of China
摘要
Abstract
Crop seed industry is a strategic and foundational core industry for China.China is not only a major agricultural producer but also a large consumer of seeds.The development of seed industry of China is at a crucial stage of market-oriented reform,while with challenges in breeding innovation,market management,and industrial chain integration that are not fully aligned with market principles.This paper provided an insightful analysis of the current status of foreign seed industry innovation and development from three perspectives:protection of foreign germplasm resources,enterprise development processes,and seed research and development,and technological innovation,key insights were derived based on germplasm resource management,innovative breeding technologies,seed industry chain integration,and industrial operational mechanisms.These insights offer valuable guidance for overcoming the current bottleneck issues in domestic seed industry.Finally,aim to bolster the international competitiveness of seed industry of China,contribute significantly to food security and sustainable agricultural development,countermeasures were put forward from strengthening the construction of the seed industry innovation system,facilitating the growth and consolidation of seed industry enterprises,fostering the training and recruitment of talents in the seed industry,and driving the coordinated development of the seed industry chain,which has substantial value and practical significance for addressing the challenges and exploring optimization strategies in the development of seed industry of China.关键词
