Professor GUO Liping's Experience in"Treating Asthma from Deficiency"and Prescription

Abstract
Asthma syndrome is a common and intractable disease in clinic,just as mentioned in"Shuowen Jiezi·Koubu"that"Asthma makes breathing difficult".As described in"Inner Canon of Huangdi",asthma is divided into two categories:one is due to excessive pathogens,and the other is due to deficiency of healthy Qi.As the body ages,the function of various organs gradually declines in the elderly,with gradual weakness in healthy Qi,easily leading to the disorder of Qi and consequent asthma.Professor GUO Liping has rich clinical experience and unique academic opinion on treating elderly asthma from the angle of"treating asthma from deficiency".He thinks that the deficiency of lung,spleen and kidney is the key point of treating deficient asthma.In the treatment,he pays attention to invigorating the lung and the spleen and nourishing the kidney,adjusting the function of organs and restoring the operation of the human body's qi,and the efficacy is significant.关键词
