Abstract
To the problems of insufficient quenching ability and poor quenching uniformity in the external spray and internal spray quenching and the quenching inside tanks of steel pipes,a quenching process of"external spray+internal spray+semi-immersion+rotation"was proposed and corresponding equipment was developed,its core component is the semi-immersion device.The semi-immersion device mainly consists of a semi-immersion tank,a rotating device,and a flipping hook.The semi immersion quenching process for steel pipe can meet the quenching needs of various steel pipes with different wall thicknesses,and improve the overall performance of quenched steel pipes,which brings significant economic benefits to the steel pipe manufacturing industry.关键词
