VSG限流控制的光储并网系统故障穿越策略OA北大核心CSTPCD

Fault ride-through strategy for PV-ES systems with VSG current limiting control

基于VSG控制的电压源型变流器可在电网故障期间有效支撑PCC点电压,但易出现过电流现象,严重影响系统安全运行.为此,以光储并网系统为例,针对故障期间VSG限流控制方法进行研究.首先,对光储并网系统的拓扑结构与控制策略进行分析,建立VSG控制策略的数学模型,研究其为系统提供电压支撑的机理;其次,分析电网电压跌落时VSG变流器的暂态电流特性和功角特性,发现故障期间VSG变流器会输出较大的短路电流,同时VSG虚拟转子转速会出现暂态振荡,若故障持续时间较长,可能导致系统失稳;再次,结合光伏系统电压支撑策略、虚拟阻抗技术、动态功率调控方法,实现一种基于VSG限流控制的故障穿越策略;最后,通过PSCAD/EMTDC电磁暂态仿真软件对所提控制策略的有效性进行验证,考察该方法对PCC点电压支撑能力和抑制VSG过电流的能力.研究结果表明:所提故障穿越方法不仅实现了光储系统对PCC点电压的有效支撑,而且抑制了VSG变流器的过电流现象.

The VSG-controlled voltage source converter effectively supports the PCC point voltage during grid faults.However,it is prone to overcurrent phenomenon,which seriously affects the safe operation of the system.This paper takes the PV-ES system as an example and conducts research on the VSG current limiting control method during the fault period,in which the PV system adopts the grid-following type of control,and the ES system adopts the VSG control.First,the topology and control strategy of the PV-ES system are analyzed,and the mathematical model of the VSG control strategy is built to study the mechanism of providing voltage support for the system.Second,the transient current characteristics and power angle characteristics of the VSG converter are analyzed during the grid voltage drop.Our results show during the fault period,the VSG converter outputs a large short-circuit current.Meanwhile,there is a transient oscillation in the virtual rotor speed of VSG,and if the duration of the fault is longer,there is a transient oscillation in the virtual rotor speed of VSG oscillation,which may lead to system instability if the fault lasts for a long time.Again,a fault ride-through strategy based on VSG current limiting control is realized by combining the PV system voltage support strategy,virtual impedance technology,and dynamic power regulation method.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified in PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation software,and the ability of the method to support the voltage at the PCC point and limit the overcurrent of VSG is investigated.The fault ride-through method proposed in this paper not only realizes the effective support of the PCC voltage in the PV-ES system,but also suppresses the overcurrent problem of the VSG converter.
