Abstract
In order to investigate effect of ultrasonic vibration on hardness and wear resistance of 42CrMo cast steel pipe,test samples were prepared under excitation frequency of 0 kHz(no ultrasonic vibration),20 kHz and 25 kHz ultrasonic vibration,respectively.Based on Rtec friction testing machine,variation patterns of average friction coefficient and friction stability coefficient under different load conditions were obtained.Ultrasonic cleaning machine was used to process friction samples,and high-precision electronic scale was used to measure changes in wear mass.The effect of ultrasonic vibration on the microstructure and surface hardness of specimen was obtained by combining hardness study with metallographic observation.The influence mechanism of ultrasonic vibration on wear resistance was explained by analyzing the micro wear morphology through electron probe microscopy and combining with the results of element distribution testing.Research shows that applying ultrasonic vibration to the process of pipeline casting can significantly improve the hardness,wear resistance,and friction stability of pipelines,especially when the excitation frequency is 20 kHz,the improvement effect of mechanical properties is more significant.关键词
