Measurement of High-Quality Economic Development Level and Comparison of Regional Differences in China's Central and Western Regions

Abstract
It is important to accelerate the high-quality economic development in central andwestern re-gions by understanding the current situation of high-quality economic development in the central and western regions and further analyzing the reasons for the differences in the high-quality economic devel-opment levels of various regions.Based on the five new development concepts,the evaluation index sys-tem of high-quality economic development level is constructed.The entropy method is used to measure the high-quality economic development level of 156 prefecture-level cities in central and western Chi-na.This paper probes into the difference of high quality economic development level in central and western regions and its reasons.The results show that the overall level of high-quality economic devel-opment in the central and western regions is on the rise,but it is still at a low level,and the level of high-quality economic development in the central region is higher than that in the western region,and the development level between the two regions has a further trend of widening;The gap in the level of high-quality economic development mainly comes from regional differences,and there are serious im-balances in the interaction process of the five new development concepts,which will seriously restrict the improvement of the level of high-quality economic development.关键词
