Abstract
Primary frequency modulation is one of the important means to maintain the frequency stability of the power grid system.Since the monitoring system of hydropower project and the turbine governor are independ-ent equipment,the adjustment purpose of the monitoring AGC or active power closed-loop regulation and the primary frequency modulation goal of the governor sometimes contradict each other,so it is required to coordi-nate the primary frequency modulation and AGC.This paper briefly introduces the basic concept of primary frequency modulation,and emphatically analyzes the important role of primary frequency modulation and the difference between it and AGC,as well as the different coordination modes with AGC in the regulation process.关键词
