Abstract

In this study,the extraction and separation process of copper,nickel and zinc was studied by hydrometallurgical process using a non-ferrous smelting waste slag as raw material.The sodium bisulfite reduction method was used to optimize the extraction conditions of copper by controlling the amount of sodium bisulfite added,reaction time,reaction pH value and reaction temperature.Ammonium oxalate solution was added to the copper extract,and the pH value of the solution was adjusted to separate nickel and zinc through precipitation reaction.The nickel oxalate and zinc oxalate precipitates were mixed,calcined and decomposed at high temperature,and then the nickel oxide and zinc oxide were separated by alkali washing.Then,nickel hydroxide and zinc hydroxide were precipitated respectively by adjusting the pH value.Under the optimized conditions,the extraction rate of copper can reach more than 98%.The ammonium oxalate precipitation method can effectively separate nickel and zinc from the copper extract.The purity of the separated nickel oxalate precipitate and zinc oxalate precipitate is high.The high temperature roasting and alkali washing method can further separate the nickel oxide and zinc oxide.The purity of the separated nickel oxide and zinc hydroxide is high.This process provides a new technical approach for the resource utilization of non-ferrous smelting waste,which helps to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of waste,reduce environmental pollution and promote the sustainable development of resources.
