Characteristics of Runoff and Sediment Production Process in Slopes of Different Texture Tower Foundations in Power Transmission Line Engineering

Abstract
[Objective]The aims of this study are to explore the characteristics of soil and water loss on the foundation slope of power transmission line engineering,and to provide theoretical basis for soil and water loss control of power transmission line engineering.[Methods]The power transmission line engineering in loess hilly area was taken as the research object.The characteristics of soil and water loss in each erosion unit of the transmission line engineering and the characteristics of runoff and sediment production in different types of tower foundation slopes were analyzed through field investigation and simulated rainfall test.[Results](1)The proportion of soil and water loss of each erosion unit in the total soil and water loss of the project is shown in the order:tower foundation area>construction road>stretch field area>spanning construction site.The soil and water loss in the tower foundation area accounts for more than 60%of the total soil and water loss in the project.(2)Compared with the original ground,the construction of the tower foundation slope increases the surface runoff.The runoff rate of each type of tower foundation slope is 1.8 to 8.7 times of that in the original ground.Compared with more soil tower foundation slope,more stone tower foundation slope can reduce 4%to 35%of runoff rate.Planting grass can reduce runoff rate by 20%to 48%.(3)Compared with the original ground,the sediment content increases by 0.5 to 345 times after the construction of the tower foundation slope,and the more soil tower foundation slope increases the most.The more stone tower foundation slope can reduce the sediment content of runoff by 39%~92%.The grass tower foundation slope can reduce the sediment content by 83%~98%.[Conclusion]In the process of power transmission line construction,the tower foundation area is the biggest erosion unit of soil and water loss.Planting grass cover can significantly reduce the sediment yield of the tower foundation area.Vegetation restoration should be carried out in time after the construction of the tower foundation area.关键词
