物种间功能性状差异是生态系统物种共存的核心问题之一,但功能性状种内变异对物种共存和分布的影响仍有待研究.本研究基于林冠塔吊平台,以长白山阔叶红松林10种主要组成树种为研究对象,分析叶片形态、生理生化功能性状沿林冠垂直梯度的变化规律.结果发现:随着林冠垂直高度的增加,叶厚、比叶重、类黄酮、有效光化学量子产量、叶片碳氮比呈增加趋势.不同树种间叶片功能性状差异显著,种间变异显著影响形态和化学性状,而种内变异对生理性状变异贡献较大,且上冠层性状种内变异高于下冠层,而种间变异在垂直梯度上变化不明显.阔叶红松林叶片功能性状在林冠垂直梯度上存在显著差异,表明种间变异对阔叶红松林物种共存具有重要的意义,但种内变异亦不可忽视.

Functional trait difference among species is one of the central issues in species coexistence.However,the effects of intraspecific variation in functional traits on species coexistence and distribution remain unclear.Based on a forest canopy tower crane platform,we explored the variations in leaf morphology,physiological,and biochem-ical functional traits of ten dominant tree species along the canopy vertical gradient from a broad-leaved Korean pine forest in Changbai Mountain.Leaf thickness,leaf mass per area,flavonoid,effective photochemical quantum yield,and leaf C/N tended to increase with increasing canopy height.Leaf functional traits varied significantly among tree species.Interspecific variations significantly affected morphological and chemical traits.Intraspecific variations con-tributed more to the variations of physiological traits,which was higher in the upper canopy than in the lower cano-py.The interspecific variation was not significant along the vertical gradient.The significant variations of leaf func-tional traits among vertical canopy gradients demonstrated the importance of the interspecific variations for species coexistence in the broad-leaved Korean pine forest,but the intraspecific variations cannot be ignored.
