面向5G-Advanced和6G的天地一体化组网需求,移动通信标准组织开展了星基移动通信网络的架构和协议研究,呈现出支持任意网络功能实体上星的技术趋势.归纳了3GPP和ITU的标准演进路线,基于该路线提出了面向5G-Advanced星载基站架构的接口协议、移动性管理和存储转发技术,以及面向6G星载核心网的卫星信息管理功能及服务流程.所提方案分别为未来移动通信中的星载接入网和星载核心网提供了具有3GPP标准前景的架构、协议和流程参考,加速星基以及天地一体化移动通信网络的标准化和产业化.
In response to the networking requirements of 5G-Advanced and 6G,mobile communication standards organizations have initiated studies on the architecture and protocols for satellite-based mobile communication networks,which indicate a trend toward supporting network function entities on satellites.This paper summarizes the standardization evolution paths of 3GPP and ITU,proposing interface protocols,mobility management,and store-and-forward technologies for satellite-based base station architectures in 5G-Advanced.Additionally,it introduces satellite information management functions and service procedures for satellite-based core networks in 6G.The proposed solutions provide architectural,protocol,and procedural references aligned with 3GPP standards for satellite-based access networks and core networks in future mobile communication systems,thereby accelerating the standardization and industrialization of satellite-based and integrated space-ground mobile communication networks.
