Abstract

Existing mega-scale satellite networks are characterized by ultra-dense nodes,highly dynamic topology and frequent inter-satellite handover,which pose challenges to guaranteeing the QoS(Quality of Service)of carried services.To address the problem,we propose a topology control strategy based on virtual constellations.By abstracting the relative position relationships of satellites,we construct a full-coverage static virtual constellation network,which throws light on managing the dynamic topology and simplifying the inter-satellite handover.On this basis,we propose a virtual network slicing construction scheme tailored for different service types,aiming to realize the on-demand allocation and customized management of network resources.Based on the virtual paths in the sliced network,we implement an improved dynamic mapping strategy to plan the physical inter-satellite routing paths,ensuring the end-to-end QoS requirements of diversified services.Extensive simulation results indicate that compared to other routing strategies based on virtual node or virtual topology,the proposed algorithm significantly improves the solving time,end-to-end delay and packet loss rate,and shows better stability and balance in the face of massive traffic.
