Abstract
Direct-to-phone satellite technology,which does not rely on dedicated terminals or terrestrial cellular networks,enables ordinary users to connect in areas without ground network coverage,making it significant for achieving integrated space-air-ground network coverage.Leveraging the record-breaking communication speed test of Starlink's direct-to-phone satellite,this paper analyzes the communication capabilities of Starlink for existing mobile phones.The study focuses on the Starlink V2-mini-DTC satellite platform,examining its onboard processing,inter-satellite links,and beam operability.A detailed link budget analysis is conducted to evaluate the downlink communication performance,with particular emphasis on the impact of key parameters such as antenna quality factor and equivalent isotropically radiated power.Additionally,a comparison with other typical direct-to-phone satellite systems is provided to assess the advantages and limitations of the Starlink system.关键词
