Study on the Properties of Diatomite-Silica-Si69-Silastic Composite

Abstract
The diatomite-silica-Si69-Silastic composites were prepared by mechanical blending.The effects of the ratio of diatomite-silica and the amount of Si69 on the vulcanization,physical and mechanical properties,and insulation properties of the composite were investigated.The results showed that the process vulcanization time first increased and then decreased,and both the surface resistivity and volume resistivity showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of the amount of diatomite,resulting in a decrease in physical and mechanical properties.When the ratio of diatomite to silica is 10∶10,and 3 parts of Si69 was used for modification,the composite material exhibited excellent tear strength,elongation at break,and insulation properties.关键词
