Influence of the Installation Arrangement of Air-conditioning Outdoor Units in a Building Cluster on Their Heat Dissipation

Abstract
Unreasonable installation location and complex wind field environment in the building cluster will have a certain impact on the operating effect of the outdoor unit.The thermal environments of outdoor units in alcoves operating at three different installation positions were investigated using CFD simulation in a cluster of row-type buildings,and the differences in heat dissipation of outdoor units at windward and downwind buildings were compared.The results show that the outdoor unit in Arrangement 1 has the best operating effect,while the outdoor unit in Arrangement 3 has the worst operating efficiency,and it is more obviously affected by the complex external wind field,the location of the building,and its own inlet/outlet wind plane orientation.In addition,the operation of the outdoor unit at the downwind building B is worse.关键词
