Discussion on Treatment of Functional Abdominal Bloating by JiajiPoints from'Undescended Turbid Qi Leading to Bloating'

Abstract
Based on the analytical interpretation of'undescended turbid Qi leading to bloating'in Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon,this study states that the key to the pathogenesis of functional abdominal bloating(FAB)lies in the fact that physiological turbid Qi fails to descend and over time the turbid pathogen is generated,which leads to the disorders of ascending and descending of Qi movement in the middle Jiao.Turbidity is considered a Yin pathogen,and FAB is classified as a Yin disease,corresponding to this concept.Jiaji points on the back belong to the Yang position and have the function of connecting the abdominal Qi and facilitating the multidimensional circulation between the Ren and Du meridians to the abdomen.They serve as a key hub for regulating the Qi of the meridians of the various abdominal organs.Based on this,it is proposed treating Yin disorders through Yang by using meridian diagnostics.This approach focuses on identifying pathological response points in the Jiaji points of T11-L5,which correspond to the abdominal Qi,to disperse localized turbid pathogens.Additionally considering the special positional relationship among the Du meridian,Jiaji points and Foot Yaiyang Bladder meridian,the Jiaji points are used to harmonized the Qi of the Ren and Du meridians and the internal organs.This overall regulation aims to restore the ascending and descending balance to expel turbid Qi,correct the imbalance of Yin and Yang,and alleviate the pathological state of abdominal bloating caused by'turbid Qi rising'.The goal is to provide insights for the clinical acupuncture treatment of functional abdominal bloating.关键词
