Abstract
Objective To investigate the intervention effect of auricular plaster therapy on patients with sudden deafness of type of blood stasis in ear.Methods A total of 116 patients with sudden deafness of type of blood stasis in ear admitted to Dongtai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2022 to May 2023 were included in the study.They were assigned to the observation group and the control group by using a random number table,with 58 cases in each group.Both groups received routine comprehensive treatment,while the observation group received additional auricular plaster therapy.The degree of hearing loss,pure tone threshold,psychological state,and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results The degree of hearing loss in the observation group was milder than that in the control group after 3 weeks of treatment,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).The pure tone thresholds of both groups decreased after 1 and 3 weeks of treatment compared with those before treatment,and the pure tone thresholds of the observation group were better than those of the control group after 1 and 3 weeks of treatment.The differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).After 3 weeks of treatment,the scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the SAS and SDS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after 3 weeks of treatment.The differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group after 3 weeks of treatment was 93.10％,which was higher than 79.31％of the control group.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment for sudden deafness of type of blood stasis in ear combined with auricular plaster therapy can not only promote the further hearing recovery,but also improve the psychological state and pure tone thresholds of patients,and improve the clinical efficacy.关键词
