High-precision 3D scene reconstruction based on Mesh model and laser point cloud

Abstract
Three-dimensional(3D)scene modeling technology is an important means to realizing urban planning,design,construction,and digital twin.Compared with traditional surveying and mapping methods,the development of new surveying and mapping technologies makes the management of the urban scene life cycle more digital and intelligent.On this basis,Jiaxing Railway Station in Zhejiang Province was taken as the research area,and this paper proposed a technical scheme combining"laser scanning,oblique photography,and artificial modeling".In other words,through 3D laser scanning,oblique photogrammetry,and artificial modeling technology,a high-precision component-level digital twin of urban scenes was achieved.The results show that the plane error of the 3D model constructed in this paper is±0.17 m in the south square and±0.12 m in the north square,which can not only meet the accuracy requirements of urban scene modeling but also provide more abundant geometric and texture information for subsequent building renovation and maintenance.In addition,it provides an important basis for urban maintenance,management,and sustainable development.关键词
