Abstract

This paper used satellite gravity data to study the changes in water reserves in the Central Shaanxi Plain from 2003 to 2022,recovered errors caused by truncation and filtering based on the scale factor,and made a comprehensive comparative analysis with hydrological model and rainfall data.The results show that the water reserves in the Central Shaanxi Plain show an overall increasing trend,about 0.96 cm/a.The minimum increasing rate is about 0.46 cm/a in the northeast,0.65 cm/a in the central areas,and 0.75 cm/a in the southwest.The water reserves in the Central Shaanxi Plain show a trend of"decreasing,increasing,and decreasing"in a year.In other words,the water reserves in autumn and winter are significantly higher than those in spring and summer.Through the comparative analysis of satellite gravity,hydrology,and rainfall,it can be seen that the time variation sequence of water reserves calculated by hydrological data and satellite gravity is basically consistent,and rainfall is an important factor for change in water reserves.The changing trend of monthly average rainfall is consistent with the results of satellite gravity inversion,and the peak of water reserves appears in summer and autumn,and the valley of water reserves appears in winter and spring.The analysis of the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of water reserves in the study area provides a reasonable basis for the sustainable utilization of water resources in the Central Shaanxi Plain.
