摘要

Abstract

In order to solve low resolution of multi-beam echosounder system(MBES)and inaccurate and misidentified side scan sonar(SSS)images in submarine cable routing detection,this paper proposed a method combining MBES and SSS for automatic detection of submarine cable routing,using the high-precision position information of MBES images to correct SSS images,and enhancing the line feature and extracting edge information considering the cable imaging characteristics of SSS images.The method achieved automatic and accurate detection of submarine cable.The experimental results show that the method can aimed to achieve accurate detection of non-buried cable detection,which provides a new idea of multi-source measurement information fusion for submarine cable detection and enriches the technical methods of submarine cable detection.
