Abstract
The sea ice model is currently an important tool for reconstruction of Arctic sea ice history,mechanism analysis and prediction of future evolution.This paper compares the similarities and differences in the key parameterization schemes of the mainstream sea ice models,including the main thermodynamic and dynamic processes,and sea ice thickness redistribution.It further summarizes the improvements of current sea ice models and reviews the support provided by sea ice modelling results for the analysis of seasonal variability,interannual variability,and the mechanisms of extreme events in key regions of the Arctic.Finally,the directions of future development of the sea ice models are refined to provide reference for the construction and development of the Arctic sea ice model in China,the study of the mechanisms of rapid change of Arctic sea ice,and the refinement of Arctic sea ice forecasting.关键词
