Study on the"De-scenicization"of Historic Protection Neighborhoods under the Urban Catalyst:A Case Study of the Kuanzhai Alley Area in Chengdu

Abstract
In recent years,with the continuous development of cultural tourism,historical blocks have gradually become popular places for tourists to visit.As one of the Chengdu's business cards,Kuanzhai Alley has achieved district renewal through economic and cultural practices.The renovation of the core area of Kuanzhai Alley has brought huge benefits to the city through the"chain reaction".This paper will use the"urban catalyst"theory to analyze the catalyst process by investigating the current situation of Kuanzhai Alley.This study will combine the perspectives of residents and tourists to explore the protection and utilization of historical blocks and how to integrate them with modern daily life.This paper will summarize the"de-scenicization"renewal strategy for the core area and surrounding areas of Kuanzhai Alley,providing reasonable and effective inspiration for the protection and development of similar historical blocks.关键词
