Abstract
As a special residential building formed during the German period of Qingdao,the courtyard is not only an integral part of Qingdao's history,but also a concentrated embodiment of Qingdao's modern urban style.However,with the rapid development of the urban economy in the later period,the courtyard complex located in the old city can no longer meet the needs of residents for modern life,and the buildings have gradually aged through wind and rain.Therefore,this paper will analyze the history and current situation of the courtyard building,extract the memory elements and architectural elements based on the collective memory and historical value of the past life contained in it,and provide a relative thinking direction for its future transformation.关键词
