Abstract

Aiming at the problem of fault activation leading to the formation of the Neogene aquifer caused by the mining impact of Guotun Coal Mine,taking the 3303 working face as the research background,through the theory of the water conducting fault remaining coal pillar,the remaining and setting width of the coal pillar is calculated and determined to be 47.66 m.Based on this,numerical simulations are conducted using FLAC3D simulation software to deeply study the stress and plastic changes of the waterproof coal pillar under the situations of remaining and setting 40 m,50 m,and 60 m of coal pillars.The failure mechanism of the waterproof coal pillar of the Xiangyang fault affected by mining influence is analyzed,and the stress and plastic changes law of the lower wall of the fault under mining influence is obtained.According to the on-site actual situation,a remaining and setting 50 m waterproof coal pillar is adopted,and the height of the"two belts"of the working face is measured using a height conducting observation instrument.The maximum height of the fractured zone develops to 65.49 m away from the 3rd coal seam,which is smaller than the thinnest bedrock of the working face.The fault also does not occur large-scale damage phenomenon such as rotational subsidence and so on.After the completion of the working face stoping,there is no significant change in the amount of water inflow.The practice proves that the rationality of remaining and setting waterproof coal pillars in the Xiangyang fault has certain reference value for same types of working faces.
