Platform Economy,Employment Quality and Common Prosperity

Abstract
With the rapid development of Internet technology,the platform economy derived from it can incubate and gener-ate more employment and entrepreneurship opportunities,expand income sources of different groups,and provide an important boost to accelerate the promotion of common prosperity in China.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2022,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of platform economy on common prosperity,and examines the transmission mech-anism between the two from the perspective of employment quality.The results show that the development of platform economy can significantly promote common prosperity,and that this conclusion is still valid after multiple robustness tests.The mechanism test results show that employment quality plays an intermediary role between platform economy and common prosperity,that is,plat-form economy promotes common prosperity by improving employment quality.The results of heterogeneity analysis show that di-mensions for the platform infrastructure and platform transaction of platform economy can significantly promote common prosperi-ty,while the impact of platform application dimension on common prosperity is not significant,and the mediating role of employ-ment quality is mainly realized by platform transaction.关键词
