Digital Economy,Factor Flow and Urban Innovation Gap
摘要
Abstract
In order to explore the impact of digital economy on the urban innovation gap,this paper calculates the urban digi-tal economy index and the urban innovation gap based on the panel data of 273 cities at the prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2022,then takes the data factor flow environment as the moderating variable,and selects the talent factor flow and capital factor flow as the intermediary variable,and finally conducts an econometric analysis on this basis.The results go as the following:The development of digital economy expands the innovation gap of local cities,and the spillover effect of digital econo-my on the neighboring regions shows the reduction of the innovation gap.The results of mediation effect test show that the develop-ment of digital economy can promote the flow of talents and capital factors,but it widens the gap of urban innovation.The thresh-old effect test results show that the influence of digital economy on urban innovation gap has a double threshold effect with data factor flow environment as the threshold variable,which broadens the urban innovation gap before and after the first threshold val-ue,and narrows the urban innovation gap after the second threshold value.When the digital economy is taken as the threshold variable,it is a single threshold effect.When the threshold value is lower,it will expand the urban gap,and when the threshold val-ue is higher,it will narrow the urban gap.Under the regulation of data factor flow environment,the capacity of the digital economy to narrow the urban innovation gap in the region and neighboring regions has increased significantly.关键词
