Analysis of language and intelligence development levels in children with delayed language development
摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the language and intellectual development levels in children with delayed language development.Methods A total of 352 children with delayed language development in Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jiangyin from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the observation group,while 205 healthy children screened during the same period were selected as the control group.The language and intelligence development levels of the two groups were measured by the early language development process scale and the developmental behavior assessment scale for children aged 0 to 6 years.Results The overall level of early language development,speech and language expression,auditory perception and comprehension,and vision-related comprehension and expression scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The language development quotient(DQ)in the observation group was the lowest,and the DQ of language,gross motor,fine motor,adaptive ability,and social behavior in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In 352 children with delayed language development,DQ<85 points was the main score of the developmental behavior assessment scale for children aged 0 to 6 years,and DQ of language ability area was lower than 85 points.Conclusion Children with delayed language development not only have language development problems,but also have many aspects of backward intelligent development.Medical institutions should strengthen early screening of language development and give timely targeted intervention guidance.关键词
