Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of Azithromycin combined with Methylprednisolone in the treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods A total of 70 children with Mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to Tongshan District People's Hospital in Xuzhou City from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects. All the children were divided into two groups using the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Azithromycin, while the observation group was treated with Methylprednisolone on the basis of the control group. The improvement of symptoms, lung function, and blood gas indicators of the two groups were compared. Results The time of fever reduction, short breath disappearance, and cough disappearance in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of forced expiratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity, maximal midexpiratory flow rate, vital capacity maximum, peak expiratory flow, maximal voluntary ventilation, and forced expiratory volume in one second/predicted were increased in both groups, and the levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the oxygen saturation of blood(SpO2)and arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)were increased, arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)was decreased in both groups, and the SpO2 and PaO2 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Azithromycin combined with Methylprednisolone in the treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia is good.关键词
