Simulation and experiment of bowtie dipole array antenna based on simple feeding network
摘要
Abstract
The design of an 8×4 planar printed array antenna operating in the X-band is presented to reduce the size and cost of the antenna,with the printed bowtie dipole antenna as the unit.A simple feeding network is employed to excite the array of bowtie dipole radiators.The designed feeding network is a microstrip printed circuit structure with equal power distribution.The designed array antenna is fabricated and tested.The testing results are close to those of the simulation.The design of the studied bowtie array antenna is characterized by simplicity and low cost,so the designed antenna can be used as the receiving antenna of the radome testing system.关键词
