Abstract
Objective To explore the aesthetic treatment tendency of patients undergoing impacted wisdom teeth surgery at the same time and analyze its related influencing factors.Methods A total of 323 patients with impacted wisdom teeth who were scheduled to undergo surgery in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects,and the aesthetic treatment tendency of the patients during the same period was evaluated by using the Dental Aesthetic Questionaire(PIDAQ)at the time of admission.At the same time,the demographic data and clinical data of patients were collected,and the related influencing factors of aesthetic treatment tendency of patients undergoing impacted wisdom teeth surgery were analyzed.Results Among 323 patients,165 patients(51.08% )had a PIDAQ score of 0-23,with an average score of(16.35±4.07),which was a low tendency group.158 patients(48.92% )had a PIDAQ score of 24-92,with an average score of(68.24±10.26),which was a high tendency group.The age,family economic status,estimated cost of aesthetic treatment in the same period,dental health component(DHC),aesthetic component(AC),self-perceived aesthetic component(SAC)scores were significantly different between groups(P＜0.05),while other data such as gender,body mass index,residence,education level and occupation were not statistically different(P＞0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that family economic status＜5 000(month/yuan)(OR=1.875),high AC score(OR=3.560)and high SAC score(OR=3.171)were the risk factors for aesthetic treatment tendency of impacted wisdom teeth surgery patients,and low estimated cost of aesthetic treatment(OR=0.196)was the same period for impacted wisdom teeth surgery patients.ROC curve analysis showed that the cut-offpoints of the estimated cost of aesthetic treatment,AC score and SAC score were 1.03,5.00 and 5.00,respectively.Conclusion 51.08% of patients with impacted wisdom teeth have low aesthetic treatment tendency in the same period,and 48.92% have high aesthetic treatment tendency in the same period.Among them,the family economic situation,the estimated cost of aesthetic treatment in the same period and the aesthetics of teeth and jaws are the influencing factors of the aesthetic treatment tendency of patients with impacted wisdom teeth surgery in the same period.关键词
