2013-2022年高等院校中、西医各层次毕业生数量对比分析
The trend of the number of graduates in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine disciplines in Chinese higher education schools from 2013 to 2022
摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the changes in the scale and structure of Chinese medicine and Western medicine related majors in recent years and provide a basis for the formulation of education policies for these fields.Methods Descriptive statistics and comparative research were conducted on the data of vocational,undergraduate,master's,and doctoral graduates of Chinese medicine and Western medicine related majors in China from 2013 to 2022.Ordinary Least Squares(OLS)was used to estimate the semilog model.Results The scale of higher education in TCM and Western medicine related majors continues to expand.In the past decade,the vocational graduates in both TCM and Western medicine have had the highest annual growth rates and currently account for the largest proportion of graduates.Except for the undergraduate level,the average annual growth rate of Chinese medicine graduates at other levels exceeds that of Western medicine graduates.The proportion of high-degree graduates in Chinese medicine is greater than that in Western medicine.Conclusion The overall scale and educational structure of TCM and Western medicine related majors in China still need further adjustment.It is essential to strictly control the enrollment and training scale of medical majors in vocational schools and gradually increase the enrollment and training scale of undergraduate TCM majors to promote the development of medical education towards higher degree levels.关键词
