生脉散合温胆汤化裁治疗小儿慢性咳嗽及对其免疫力及炎性因子水平的影响
Effects of Shengmai Powder Combined with Wendan Decoction on Chronic Cough in Children and Its Impact on Immunity and Inflammatory Factors

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the efficacy of Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction in treating chronic cough in children.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 118 children with chronic cough from August 2022 to October 2023.Patients were divided into two groups based on different treatment methods:62 patients treated with conventional therapy plus Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction were included in the Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group,and 56 patients receiving only conventional treatment were included in the conventional treatment group.Serum inflammatory factors,immunoglobulins,T lymphocyte subgroups,efficacy,pulmonary function,and adverse reactions were collected and statistically analyzed before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-5(IL-5)were significantly lower in the Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group compared to the conventional treatment group(P<0.01).The Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group had significantly higher serum levels of immunoglobulin IgG and IgA,and significantly lower IgE levels compared to the conventional treatment group(P<0.01).CD4+and CD4+/CD8+ratios were significantly higher in the Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group(P<0.01).The overall effective rate was significantly higher in the Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group(P<0.05).Forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)were significantly higher in the Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction group compared to the conventional treatment group(P<0.01).The total incidence of adverse reactions such as dry mouth and headache during treatment showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Shengmai Powder combined with Wendan Decoction is effective in reducing inflammation,improving both humoral and cellular immunity,and enhancing pulmonary function in children with chronic cough.It also significantly improves clinical outcomes with high safety of the traditional Chinese medicine decoction.关键词
