玉液汤联合常规降糖措施治疗2型糖尿病合并失眠患者疗效观察
Observation of the Efficacy of Yuye Decoction Combined with Conventional Hypoglycemic Measures in Treating Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Insomnia

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of Yuye Decoction combined with conventional hypoglycemic measures in treating patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and insomnia.Methods:A total of 120 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and insomnia were randomly selected from the Endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine between June 2023 and June 2024.The patients were randomly divided into the Combination Group and the Control Group,with 60 patients in each group(one patient in the Control Group withdrew,leaving 59 patients).On top of basic hypoglycemic treatment,the Combination Group was treated with Yuye Decoction and the Control Group was treated with Estazolam.Blood glucose indicators,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores,Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores,clinical efficacy rates,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:Both groups showed a significant reduction in Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG)and 2-hour Postprandial Glucose(2 h PG)before and after treatment(P<0.01),with a more pronounced reduction in the Combination Group compared to the Control Group(P<0.01).Both groups had decreased PSQI total scores after treatment and during follow-up compared to before treatment(P<0.01),with the Combination Group showing a statistically significant difference compared to the Control Group after treatment and follow-up(P<0.05).The effective rates for the Combination Group and the Control Group were 80.0%(48/60)and 69.49%(41/59),respectively,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).Both groups reported no significant adverse effects.Conclusion:The use of Yuye Decoction combined with conventional hypoglycemic measures in patients with diabetes and insomnia can effectively stabilize blood glucose,improve symptoms and sleep quality,without increasing adverse reactions.关键词
