Research Progress on the Regulation of Sjogren's Syndrome-Related Signaling Pathways by Effective Components and Formulas of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract
Sjogren's Syndrome(SS)is a chronic autoimmune disease primarily affecting the exocrine glands,especially the salivary and lacrimal glands.Research on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)for Sjogren's Syndrome often focuses on regulating the immune system,reducing inflammatory responses,and upregulating water channel proteins,reflecting its multi-target,multi-level,and multi-pathway advantages.In recent years,numerous scholars have conducted extensive studies on the relevant signaling pathways involved in the pathogenesis of SS.It has been found that TCM can modulate SS-related signaling pathways such as Toll-like receptor signaling,interferon signaling,JAK/STAT signaling,NF-κB signaling,PD-1/PD-L1 signaling,and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways,thereby inhibiting inflammation and regulating immunity to prevent and treat SS.This paper aims to explore the specific roles of these signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of SS and the research achievements of TCM in regulating these pathways,providing references and ideas for further in-depth research on TCM treatment for Sjogren's Syndrome.关键词
