姜黄素、β-胡萝卜素对太湖猪精液常温保存效果的影响
Influence of Curcumin and β-Carotene on the Preservation Effect of Taihu Pig Semen at Room Temperature
摘要
Abstract
In order to explore the effect of different types of phytogenic antioxidants on the preservation of Taihu pig semen at room temperature,the two commonly used antioxidants,curcumin and β-carotene,were selected.They were added at different concentrations(curcumin:0,3,6,9 µg·mL-1;β-carotene:0,10,20,40 µg·mL-1)to the semen diluent of Taihu pig.The sperm vitality,plasma membrane integrity rate and acrosome integrity rate were detected by using the visual observation,hypotonic swelling method and Wright-Giemsa staining method on the 1 st,3 rd,5 th and 7 th day of preservation at 17 °C.The results showed that the addition of certain concentrations of curcumin and β-carotene could significantly improve the sperm quality,with the optimal concentrations being 6µg·mL-1 for curcumin and 20µg·mL-1 for β-carotene.关键词
