The Effect of Antioxidant 1010 Introduction on the Preparation and Performance of Non-woven Fabrics for PLA Oil-water Separation

Abstract
With the development of technology,oil leakage accidents and oily wastewater discharge have occurred frequently during the oil extraction and transportation.In order to solve this problem,polylactic acid(PLA)was applied in this research as raw material for preparing non-woven fabric for oil-water separation via the spunbond technique.To improve the anti-aging performance,antioxidant 1010 and other anti-aging additives were blended with PLA via twin-screw extrusion before the spunbond process.The chemical and crystal structure changes of the obtained non-woven fabric samples were characterized through FTIR and X-ray diffraction.The tensile strength,breaking strength,and oil absorption performance of the prepared fabric samples were also investigated.The results indicated that the introduction of antioxidant 1010 effectively improved the fiber forming properties and mechanical properties of PLA non-woven fabrics,which can be applied in the operation of oil-water separation.关键词
