Cultural Factors in Sci-tech Self-reliance and Self-strengthening at Higher Levels

Abstract
[Research purpose]Sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at higher levels is a major strategic goal of China's scientific and technological development.How to achieve this goal involves many aspects,among which the consciousness and confidence in Chinese culture is a deep factor that cannot be ignored.[Research method]On the basis of the analysis of the concept of"science and technology"in daily use,it is pointed out that to achieve sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening,we must first establish a sound national self-confidence,which helps us to understand the strengths and weaknesses of traditional Chinese culture.[Research conclusion]By examining the process of the generation and development of modern science and technology,it is not difficult to find that theoretical thinking plays a vital role in scientific culture.In the context of traditional Chinese culture,although there are many factors conducive to contemporary technological innovation,this type of thinking is insufficient.Therefore,with fully leveraging the strengths of Chinese culture,we should actively and effectively make up for this deficiency through science education and other means.Only in this way can we achieve the autonomous development in science and technology faster and better,making greater contributions to the progress of human civilization.关键词
