Geohazard Identification in Western Taiwan Strait Based on Sub-Bottom Profile
摘要
Abstract
With the rapid development of marine economic construction, especially the construction of major projects such as buildings, bridges, and wind farms in coastal areas,it is urgent to reduce the risk of geohazards in marine areas.Based on the latest high-resolution sub-bottom profiler data collected in the Taiwan Strait area through the Fujian Province earthquake risk survey, combined with the historical data and geohazard information in the study area, this paper identified potential geohazard factors such as the shallow gas, pockmarks, paleochannels, tidal sand ridges, and so on.On this basis, the horizontal distribution map of geohazards was plotted.Meanwhile, the paper discussed the possibility of identifying active faults in the sub-bottom profile. The results show that the geohazard factors in the northern part of the study area are widely distributed shallow gas.In the middle part, there are mainly active faults and buried paleochannels, and in the southern part, there are mainly widely distributed tidal sand ridges and frequent seismic activities.关键词
