How Digital Transformation Empowers Enterprises to Increase the Quantity and Quality of Technological Innovation

Abstract
Digital transformation has become an inevitable choice for the survival and development of enterprises,enhancing their core competitiveness and injecting strong kinetic energy to promote the high-quality development of China's economy.Based on the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2013-2021,this paper examines the impact of digital transformation on corporate technological innovation and verifies the micro-enabling mechanism.It is found that the deeper the degree of digital transformation,the higher the number and quality of patents filed by enterprises,indicating that digital transformation has fuelled the quantitative and qualitative increase in corporate technological innovation.Further,starting from the perspective of supply chain relationship and financing,this paper analyses that digital transformation optimises the supply chain and promotes enterprise technological innovation through two types of mechanisms:reducing supply chain concentration and obtaining supply chain commercial credit financing.关键词
