Study on Pre-desulfurization Process of Waste Rubber Powder and Properties of Modified Asphalt

Abstract
The production of kitchen waste oil in China is large-scale and widely distributed,and there are serious environmental risks and health hazards.The secondary utilization rate can be improved by using it as rubber powder desulfurizer and participating in asphalt modifica-tion.Firstly,the pre-desulfurization process of waste rubber powder was studied,and the influence of different pretreatment time and edible oil consumption on desulfurization efficiency was analyzed by multi-factor control variable method,and the optimal pre-desulfurization process was determined.Modified asphalt was prepared with the best desulfurization rubber powder.The properties of modified asphalt were determined by characterizing the viscosity,elongation and softening point of modified asphalt.The results show that the optimum desulfurization process can be obtained when the pretreatment time is 1 h and the amount of desulfurizer is 40%.The asphalt prepared by using the product as modifier has better temperature sensitivity and machinability than the base asphalt.关键词
