Abstract
SAUR(Small auxin-up RNA)genes are early responders to auxin.Based on the tobacco genome data,NtSAUR genes were identified, and their chromosomal locations, conserved motifs, conserved domains, gene structures, promoter cis-acting elements, phylogenetic trees, and syntenic analyses were conducted. The findings revealed the presence of 64 genes in the tobacco genome, predominantly encoding basic and hydrophilic proteins, unevenly distributed across 21 chromosomes.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that tobacco SAUR genes are dispersed among three distinct clades, with varying gene numbers within each clade.Analysis of the cis-acting elements in the gene promoters identified elements responsive to IAA,ABA,GA,JA,SA,as well as to signals related to drought and low-temperature stress. These results provide a foundation for further investigations into the functions of tobacco SAUR genes and their mechanisms of response to environmental stressors.关键词
